Changelog

What has changed in ioumi

Every change to the platform since launch, explained in plain language and sorted by date. No version numbers, just what it means for you.

October 2026

  1. New

    Setup checklist for new accounts

New accounts start with a setup screen. A checklist shows what’s still left to do before you start and guides you through the setup step by step.

  2. New

New dashboard with widgets and cash flow forecast

The new dashboard is built from widgets. The cash flow forecast can be switched between gross and net and viewed over any time period you choose. The dashboard also shows upcoming payouts, the payout history and your top customers.

  3. Improved

Dynamic tables with multiple filters and custom export

The overviews in the platform are now dynamic tables. You can combine multiple filters and arrange columns freely. The export uses your current view, with either all columns or only the ones you select. User avatars and icons also make the tables easier to scan.

  4. New

Schedule custom triggers for a future date

A freely described payment such as “after the workshop” can be triggered right away or scheduled for a future date as soon as the date is set.

September 2026

  1. New

Invoice preview in the payment plan

Right from the payment plan, you can see when each invoice will be created and which payment will be collected.

  2. New

Add line items from the offer in one click

Line items from the offer are added to the payment plan with one click, including manual service periods for line items with a single payment.

  3. New

Calculation helpers in the payment plan editor

Remaining and maximum amounts are suggested automatically. You fill in the payment plan in just a few clicks, without doing the math yourself.

  4. New

    Automatic installment rounding

If an amount doesn’t divide evenly, the last installment automatically absorbs the rounding difference.

  5. New

    Linked payments

Relative triggers link payments to one another, for example the remaining balance 14 days after the down payment.

  6. New

Customers choose their payment option when signing

You can offer several payment options per contract. The customer picks their option as part of the signing process, and the chosen payment plan becomes part of the contract.

  7. New

Surcharges and discounts per payment plan

Each payment plan can differ from the offer price, for example a discounted one-time payment or a surcharge for installment payments.

  8. New

New payment plan builder with up to five plans

Payment plans are now created in a new editor. Each contract can have up to five independent payment plans, for example a one-time payment and twelve installments as two options side by side.

  9. New

Default for net or gross prices

In the settings, you decide whether prices are entered as net or gross by default. When selling to consumers, every new contract then shows gross prices right away.

  10. New

    Your own time zone

Instead of the platform time zone, the time zone set in your account now applies. It is used on all documents, in activity logs and in the audit trail.

August 2026

  1. New

    New payouts overview

Payouts have their own overview showing your bank account on file, upcoming payouts and the full payout history, right next to the exports. You can change the bank account there at any time.

  2. New

    Refunds

Successful payments can now be refunded. Every successful payment has a “Refund” action for this.

    • Select a reason for the refund and optionally add an internal note
    • The full amount is automatically returned to the customer’s account
    • The matching credit note is created automatically and sent to the customer
  3. New

    Export package for accounting

All documents for your tax advisor and bookkeeping are available as a monthly ZIP package. Everything you need for fast bookkeeping is in one place.

    • Monthly summary invoice of all ioumi fees as a PDF
    • All outgoing invoices and credit notes as PDFs
    • Invoice ledger with all invoices and invoice data
    • Payment list with all payment data
  4. New

    Custom triggers for payments

If a payment date isn’t fixed yet, you describe the timing freely in the payment plan, for example “after the workshop”. That is exactly how it appears in the contract: the amount is due after the workshop and is triggered by the seller.

    • You write the trigger yourself when creating the payment plan
    • When the time comes, the seller triggers the payment with one click
    • Collection and invoicing then run automatically

July 2026

  1. New

    Contract and invoice attached directly

Contracts, invoices and credit notes are attached to the email as PDFs. Customers have every document in their inbox right away, without signing in.

  2. New

    New payments overview

Payments have their own overview with status and full history for each payment. Open and failed payments are visible at a glance.

  3. New

    English as a customer language

English is now available as a second language. If a customer’s language is set to English, the contract, emails, customer portal and all other pages appear to them in English.

  4. New

Versioned terms and consent at signing

General terms and conditions are stored once, centrally and with version control. The individual contract only contains your own or additional contract terms.

    • Before signing, the customer accepts the terms and conditions and the privacy policy via checkbox, with direct links to both
    • The valid version of the terms is linked to the signature and stored in the audit journal and in the signed contract

June 2026

  1. New

    Custom number sequences

Invoice, contract and credit note numbers are made up of a prefix, a second component such as the year, and a sequential number. This lets you match your number sequences to your own accounting requirements.

  2. New

    External invoicing mode

For companies that want to, or are legally required to, create invoices in their own invoicing software. The entire flow stays in ioumi, only the invoice itself is created in the external software.

    • ioumi collects the payment and passes the invoice data to the invoicing software via API
    • The invoice created there comes back into ioumi: it appears in the customer portal, is sent through ioumi and is available for the seller to download
    • Payment status, “paid” marking and customer data are continuously synced
    • Successfully tested with the first customer in Spain, including VeriFactu and the Holded integration
    • Available on request: once the integration has been aligned, support activates the mode
  3. Improved

    Contracts without an expiration date

“Signable until” is now optional. Without a date, a contract stays open for signing until it is withdrawn.

  4. New

API and webhooks for CRM integrations

Contacts, invoices and payments are available via API and webhooks. This lets you connect ioumi to your CRM and automations.

    • Create and update contacts via API
    • Receive invoice and payment events via webhook
  5. New

    Reminders in one click

Remind customers of missing signatures and payment methods with a single click. No need to write a separate email anymore.

  6. Improved

New template for invoices and credit notes

Invoices and credit notes have a redesigned layout. Company details, registration information and contact details appear exactly where they belong.

  7. New

Emails sent under your own company name

Emails to customers show the seller’s company name as the sender instead of ioumi. Recipients always know who they are signing the contract with.

May 2026

  1. New

Customer portal with access via email link

Customers see their contracts, invoices and payments in their own portal. They sign in through a link in their email, no password needed.

  2. Improved

Contracts and invoices readable on mobile

Contracts and invoices adapt to small screens. Reviewing and signing now works right on your phone.

  3. Improved

Payment plans with up to 99 installments

Installment plans can now be split into up to 99 installments. Even programs paid monthly over several years fit into a single deal.

  4. New

    Private access phase begins

The first customers are working with ioumi in production, and on May 27 the first real payment went through the platform. Offer, contract with e-signature, payment plan and automatic invoice now run in a single flow.

In a demo call, we show you how your sales process runs in ioumi, from the offer and signature all the way to automatic payment.
