ioumi combines a small monthly base fee with a transaction fee on the payment volume you actually process. The monthly base fee replaces several tools at once: offer tool, contract tool with e-signature, invoicing tool and the automation in between. You only pay the transaction fee on what actually runs through the platform. And because we're not a reseller, we can offer very competitive terms, and for higher payment volumes we can also agree on them individually. You'll find the exact prices on the pricing page, or we can discuss your terms individually in a demo call.

All questions and answers
- How much does ioumi cost?
- Who is ioumi for?
For anyone who actively sells and needs legally sound, individual contracts. You get the most out of it if you have a multi-step sales process, for example with Opening, Setting and Closing, maybe already with your own sales team and commission tracking. Typical users are coaches and consultants and agencies and digital service providers with a high contract volume and individual payment plans. And if you also sell standardized products on the side, you cover those with ioumi Payment Links as well: individual contracts and simple checkouts, all under one roof.
- Is there a free way to get started?
Yes. There's a free plan with no monthly base fee that lets you try ioumi at your own pace with real deals. In return, the transaction fees are slightly higher. As soon as your volume grows, you switch to a plan with a monthly base fee and lower fees. If you'd rather have ioumi shown to you first, book a demo and we'll walk through your specific process together.
- Am I the contracting party for my customers, or does ioumi sell on my behalf?
You remain 100% the contracting party for your customers. Unlike many checkout platforms, ioumi is not a reseller: contracts and invoices are issued in your name, on your terms. We're the infrastructure in the background, and your customer relationships belong to you.
- What does my customer see of ioumi?
Your customer experiences your brand. Offers, contracts, emails, invoices and the customer portal are branded for you, with your logo and your colors. In the portal, your customer manages their contracts, invoices and payment methods themselves, within your brand instead of in someone else's tool.
- Are the digital signatures legally valid?
Yes. The e-signature complies with the eIDAS Regulation (EU) No 910/2014. Every signature is documented with a complete audit trail: IP address, timestamp, device info and the exact version of all accepted documents. Your terms and conditions are also embedded with version control. So you can prove at any time which version your customer agreed to.
- How do withdrawals and cancellations work with ioumi?
Both are built in. In B2C business, your customer gets the legally required withdrawal button right out of the box, so withdrawals run through the platform and are properly documented. In B2B business there's no statutory right of withdrawal, so your contract terms apply. And if something changes, you cancel invoices directly in ioumi, and credit notes are created automatically and properly documented.
- Which payment methods can my customers use?
Currently Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and SEPA Direct Debit. You decide which of them are available for each offer: for large amounts with installment payments, SEPA Direct Debit is common, and for quick closes on the call, credit card. Your customer saves their payment method once, and after that all installments are collected automatically.
- How quickly can I start selling with ioumi?
Quickly. The review of your payment account runs digitally and without any waiting time on our side. In practice, that means you set up your account after the demo call, create your contract template and your payment plans, and can send your first contract the same day. We support you personally while you set up your templates.
- Who takes care of VAT?
You do. ioumi is infrastructure, not a reseller: you remain the contracting party for your customers and are therefore liable for the tax. ioumi creates the invoices with the tax rates you set and gives your accountant a clean export with all invoices, payments and fees. You or your accountant handle the filing and payment. Reseller platforms take this part off your hands, but in return they become the seller themselves, and the customer relationship no longer belongs to you.
- In which countries can I use ioumi?
Your customers can come from anywhere in the world. For you as a seller, ioumi is currently available in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Spain and Cyprus, because opening your payment account requires different checks depending on the country. Billing is in euros. If your company is based elsewhere, get in touch and we'll look into it together.
- What happens with a chargeback?
With SEPA Direct Debit, your customer can dispute a debit. Depending on your plan, a payment dispute costs €20 to €30, and you'll find the exact rates on the pricing page. Your claim remains valid: contract, e-signature and audit trail document what was agreed, and the outstanding payment stays visible in the system.
- Can I bring in my sales team and track commissions?
Yes. You create team member accounts with their own permissions and record for each deal who was the setter and who was the closer. Because contract, invoice and payment are linked, you can see which deal is behind every incoming payment. That lets you calculate commissions based on the money actually received instead of the closed deal, which makes all the difference, especially with long installment plans.
- Who is liable for the content of my contracts?
You, as the seller. ioumi is the tool you use to create offers, contract terms and general terms and conditions, just as invoicing software is the tool for your invoices. We don't review the content and don't interfere, because that's exactly the advantage: you write your own terms and adjust them for each contract, with no one standing in between. So the responsibility for what's in them stays with you.
- Can I run multiple companies or brands through one account?
An ioumi account always belongs to one company and carries one brand, because the review of your payment account is done for exactly that company. If you run several companies or brands, you create a separate account for each one. Get in touch if you want to run several accounts side by side, and we'll set it up together.
- How many team members can work with ioumi?
In addition to your admin account, the Free plan includes one team member account, Starter two, Growth five and Scale twenty. Each account gets its own permissions, so you decide who creates offers, who changes prices and who sees the numbers. If your team is bigger than your plan allows, get in touch: we don't want access to be what holds anyone back. You'll find the plans in detail on the pricing page.
- What happens if a project is canceled or postponed?
You adjust the contract with an amendment: you change or remove the amounts, dates and descriptions of future payments, or end the project entirely. The amendment goes to your customer, they countersign, and from then on the new payment plan applies. If needed, you cancel invoices that have already been issued, and credit notes are created automatically.
- What happens if ioumi is ever unavailable?
Your payments keep running. Due collections and invoices are scheduled in the background and processed as soon as the platform is available again. So nothing gets lost and nothing is executed twice. ioumi is hosted by UpCloud in the European Union, and UpCloud states 99.999% availability for its infrastructure.
- How does payment work with ioumi?
You set the payment plan directly in the offer: one-time payment, down payment plus installments, subscription or individual combinations. Right after signing, your customer saves their payment method, for example SEPA Direct Debit or credit card. From then on everything runs automatically: payments are collected when due, and invoices are created and sent.
- What happens if a payment fails?
ioumi automatically retries failed payments and notifies your customer so they can update their payment method. Instead of follow-up calls and Excel lists of open items, you see the status of every payment in the dashboard and only step in where it's really needed.
- How do my existing customers and ongoing contracts move to ioumi?
That's what the migration service is for: we migrate your existing customers and ongoing payment plans together with you, via CSV import or API, including the connection to your CRM. We support you personally throughout the move until everything is running. You don't start from scratch.
- Does ioumi replace my invoicing tool, and what does my accountant get?
For everything you sell through ioumi, yes. Invoices are created automatically, with their own number sequence that you can continue from your existing numbering. For bookkeeping, there's an export with all invoices, payments and fees. Your accountant gets a clean monthly package instead of a puzzle of receipts.
- When do I get my money, and where is it held until then?
Your money belongs to you from the very first second. Your customers' payments don't land in a pooled ioumi account but in your own wallet. From there, payouts go to your bank account automatically once a week, as soon as the 7-day security period has passed. This period can be shortened later. You don't have to trigger anything, the payout arrives reliably in the background.
- What if I want to switch again later?
Then you take everything with you. You get a complete export of your contract and payment data, and because you're the contracting party for your customers, the customer relationships belong to you anyway. ioumi can be canceled monthly. We keep you with the product, not with the contract.
- What's the difference between ioumi and CopeCart, Digistore24 or ablefy?
CopeCart, Digistore24 and ablefy are primarily checkout platforms: the customer gets a link, books a standardized product and pays. CopeCart (standard model) and Digistore24 sell as resellers in their own name, while ablefy and CopeCart Pro also offer selling in your own name. ioumi is a contract and payment platform for consultative sales processes: you create individual offers with a contract and have them signed via e-signature, and payment collection and invoicing run automatically from the signed contract, in your name, with you remaining the contracting party. The real difference lies in the flexibility: individual contract terms, multiple payment plans to choose from within one contract, down payments, installments, milestones and contract changes. Made for everyone who needs flexibility and still handles a high contract volume. Detailed comparisons with sources and sample calculations: CopeCart, Digistore24, ablefy and the overview of all comparisons.
- How flexible are the payment plans in ioumi?
More flexible than any pure checkout tool. In one contract you can offer your customer several payment plans to choose from, for example a one-time payment with a discount, six installments or twelve installments with a surcharge. Each plan can consist of any number of payments: down payment and final payment, installments at freely chosen intervals, milestone payments or amounts you trigger manually, for example after a workshop or on completion. The contract start can differ from the signature date, and payments can be scheduled relative to each other. You save payment plans as templates and reuse them in seconds. And if something changes, you adjust the plan in an amendment and have the customer sign again. The same logic applies to ioumi Payment Links, except that there the customer chooses in the checkout.
- Do I need my own Stripe account?
No. All you need is your ioumi account. Payment processing runs through ioumi, and in the background your own payment account is set up with our payment service provider, which requires a one-time KYC check. You don't have to open or manage a separate account with Stripe or any other provider.
- Can I connect ioumi to my CRM?
Yes. With Magic Links you create prefilled offers and contracts from any CRM. There's also a public API and webhooks for all important events (contract signed, payment received, payment failed and more), so you can connect ioumi to practically any system via make.com, Zapier or n8n. Native integrations with the leading CRM systems will follow, and we support you personally with the connection.
- Is ioumi GDPR compliant, and where is the data hosted?
Yes. ioumi is an Austrian company, the platform is hosted in the European Union, and contracts, payment data and backups stay in the EU. The e-signature is eIDAS compliant with a complete audit trail. We sign a data processing agreement with every customer.
- Is ioumi legit?
Yes. Behind ioumi is ioumi GmbH from Wolfurt in Vorarlberg, Austria, registered in the companies register of the Feldkirch Regional Court (FN 672206p). The founder and managing director is Christian Stockklauser. ioumi is developed in Austria and hosted in Europe. Outlets that have reported on ioumi include brutkasten, Leadersnet and VOL.AT, and you'll find all articles on the press page.
- Are ioumi's reviews real?
Yes. All reviews come from customers who use ioumi in their day-to-day work, and they appear in their original wording on OMR Reviews. On the reviews page, every card links to the full review so you can read it yourself. On Google and ProvenExpert, ioumi is also rated 5.0 stars.
